Egg donation involves the removal of one or more eggs from a donor and the transfer of those eggs to either the intended mother or a surrogate. The use of donor eggs has allowed, infertile parent(s) to give birth to their child or work with a surrogate. Donor egg has also given gay parent(s) and single dads the ability to pursue parenthood through surrogacy. The National adoption and surrogacy center represents both intended parent(s) and egg donors.

Most egg donations are anonymous, but some parent(s) desire to know their egg donor. If you have decided to use donor eggs and don't know where to get started, the The National Adoption and Surrogacy Center, LLC. will help you find your donor; either through your fertility clinic or an egg donor agency and will help coordinate any necessary screening that your donor might need.

There are many potential legal issues that arise when working with egg donors. An egg donor contract is necessary to detail the parties' relationship, the procedures involved, that parental rights are being relinquished, and any compensation involved.

Please contact the The National Adoption and Surrogacy Center, LLC. if you are interested in hearing more about egg donor issues.
